Also, to whoever wrote the quote for Cosmia this round, "Now in the quiet hour when I am sleeping / I cannot keep the night from coming in" is also my 'favourite line from anything ever', and has been since I first heard it. It's written in big black letters above my bed.

In earlier rounds, I sort of asked you whether you were tying two songs because you liked them equally, or because you disliked them equally - but in this round I will be safe to assume the latter: they will get ½ a vote each. [So if you could pair your ties up with another voter, that would keep the table tidy. j/k].

I guess I didn't explain myself properly. Not only do I think the line is less concerned with 'big ideas', I just think it's weak. The rhyme is obvious (not always a bad thing I know) and I think just in terms of cadence and meaning it gives nothing. If someone presented it to me as a line of poetry, I would say 'Don't write that, it's shit'. Nothing about it resonates with me, and I find it especially jarring considering how much I love the line before.
