Hi

I am Abs, I'm 28 and I live in Northern California. I was was introduced to Joanna a few years ago when I heard Final Fantasy's cover of "Peach, Plum, Pear"

My other fav artists are The Decemberists and Rasputina, amongst *many* others...I'm kind of a music freak haha. I play piano and Joanna has definitely inspired me to strengthen my skills. I'm quite proud of the fact that I can play and sing (sort of) "Good Intentions Pavement Co." and "Go Long"!

Hi my name is Alice and I'm 15 and from Ireland. Emm I'm not really sure how I found out about Joanna it was a while ago! I have kind of a weird taste in music! It ranges from taylor swift to well I guess Joanna! :lol:

My favorite JN song is Only Skin!! Its my go to song for when ever i feel stressed of cant sleep or anything! (just some useless information for ye all!! haha) Anyhoo emm yah HI!

Hi, my name is Skyler. I'm 19, male (because I guess my name is unisex...), and a huge Joanna fan, obviously. I found out about her music a few years ago when the movie "The Strangers" came out. I'm not sure exactly how long ago that was, but it feels like forever! As you know, "The Sprout and the Bean" was played in one of the scenes of that movie. The song got stuck in my head and I kept humming along to it for the next few days. I finally decided to find out just who the heck the singer of this amazing song was. It pretty much blew up after that.

My taste in music is pretty broad. I listen to a lot of a foreign music. Mainly Japanese. I like any type of music that is unique. I pretty much hate mainstream stuff by default, but there are some exceptions.

I'm pretty much a hermit. The only time I really ever leave my house now is whenever I go to school or to get some food. My best friend lives with me so there aren't many reasons for me to go out anymore. I like it this way because I kinda have some issues with social anxiety, but it can get really annoying...and boring after a while. I'm trying to get over it and do more things. I DO like to go on adventures and stuff, there's just not much adventuring to be done around here...

anyway , I hope to actually post here often. I get really lazy when it comes to this stuff...

I think that ,wherever you are, the fans are probably in-hiding. After the evil reactions giving by people when they are introduced to her music, I think that a lot of fans just simply stop telling others about her. Not all, but I'd bet it's a pretty high percentage.

HOOM is more easy to introduce than MEM, voice and arrangements are smoother. Now i can offer HOOM with no anxiety, and 2 on 3, people are happy, even if they don't turn into fan.
but it's an english speaking forum, so we miss all those frogs unable to write proper english, i think russians, germans, spanish people have their own forums. And as we're not related no the official site, we're not more important than other forum (even if i think we are

). All of that to say joanna's fans are disseminated into the cobweb

We should find these other forums. I've heard a Japanese one mentioned. It's bizarre how divided by language the Internet can be - there are whole Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese etc. Internets that your average English Internet user will never encounter, just through having no reason to go there.
