gig discussions

Postby goateebird on 12 Nov 2010, 16:41

Can't remember the exact order, but here's the songs that were played:

The Book of Right-On (Opened main set)
Inflammatory Writ
Peach, Plum, Pear (Ended main set)
Monkey & Bear
Sawdust & Diamonds (Encore 2, solo w/o band)
Cosmia
Easy
Have One On Me
Good Intentions Paving Company
Baby Birch (Encore 1)
In California
Go Long
Soft As Chalk

She mentioned that she hadn't played Sawdust & Diamonds in a long time. For those of you with a more complete recollection of her gigography, is this true?

Really great show, in general. I'm still on a high.

and yeah i think she's played sawdust and diamonds about 5-7 times this tour? considering the tour's been on for almost a year i guess it might have been a couple of months or something since she last did it.
all these ys songs, yet only skin still remains elusive from this tour..

Does anyone have any live recordings from the show last night. It was absolutely amazing!! I brought in a camera but couldn't find a way to be discreet enough to film. Was a bit intimidated by the "no cameras/recording" rule.

I would love to see any video clips or hear any audio if any of you guys have it.

Such a WONDERFUL show!!

Who was the "special guest"? Drag City was being all mysterioso, leading people to believe it might be Bill Callahan...
