I was wondering if anyone was attending her Asheville show on November 19th at the Orange Peel? I'm happy to say that I'll be in attendance! It will mark my 3rd Joanna concert, and I am just as excited about it as the other two times I've seen her play live.

Also, I never been to this particular venue and I was wondering if anyone could describe how they think/know it will be for a Joanna show?

I was toying with the idea of going, but I dunno. I'm in FL and obv going to both her FL dates and decided to go to Athens as well, since I'm used to traveling that far for her anyway, and I met some people from Athens at her Atlanta show in March, so now I actually know people there. Part of my debate with Asheville would be not knowing anyone since I doubt my friend will be able to go. The other side of that debate is money. I will have to think on it a while and see how things pan out. I mean, I'll already be seeing her more than necessary, but if I'm already driving alllll the way to Athens, Asheville ain't that much further.

True, but then it's all the way back home for you from Asheville.

Not that I'm discouraging you from seeing her! She's wonderful! Go see her all you want! If anyone is worth traveling for, it's certainly Joanna.

True, true. I've made drives longer than that (for bands, too ), but I'm not crazy about it.
Ha, was just texting my friend today about Athens, etc. and she said that while she couldn't do Athens, she might be able to swing New Orleans. Lawdy, if she really wants to, I don't think I could turn it down...even though I already got a ticket for Athens. That much travel seems very daunting to me, but like you said, if anyone's worth it, it's Joanna.

Yes! I have been wanting to visit Athens again anyway. Anything I should check out in the brief time I'm there?
