I listened to him recently and just found his music really oldsy folksy with nothing that particularly interested me. Maybe there is a good place for me to start?
For me Kristian Matsson of Sweden aka The Tallest Man on Earth(TMOE), triggers the same emotions and visceral imagery similar to reading David Henry Thoreau's poetry or listening to a Bob Dylan or Woody Guthrie song.
It is very similar to how Joanna's music triggers images and feelings similar to when I read E. E. Cummings. His lyrical and musical prowess make him a creative force
Folk isn't old- it is the people in the now. TMOE carries on the lineage of folk and interprets the folk artists of past as he moves forward today- much how like Dylan did with Guthrie.
