The thing i like best about deciphering Joanna's songs...i'm always wrong.
Hello, I'm new here. My real name is Matheus and I'm a student. I'm a giant fan of all folk music in general, I discovered Joanna on 4chan board (not the most elegant story) and decided to give Ys a try. I only liked Monkey and Bear on the first listen. It has grown on me and now it's one of favourite LP's of all time. I think Joanna is a brilliant songwriter and inspiration to lot's of people.
This is a short sample of my long and gratifying relationship with folk music.
this is more of a re-introduction. i posted a lot around here in 2010, back when i was freshly finished with my first year of college and spending a rather depressing summer at home, which accounts for the melancholy tone in a lot of my posts. happy to report that things are great with me now. i'm finishing up my degrees in creative writing and women's and gender studies, planning my future, cooking a lot, and of course, loving joanna.
hope all of you are doing great as well--i met some truly lovely people on this forum & have missed you.
Hello, my name is Gonzalo, i am 19, i come from portugal, but i currently live in paris after a long long long story. I have felt very loney in my love for joanna, i am a higefan, and i can listen to any song by her 200 times in a row if i feel like it and not even get slightly sick. It's very rare to find someone who loves joanna and as i seen on this forum that won't be a problem! I am very excited to be able to talk about joanna and other artist and hearing other people's opinions!
Hello, my name is Lauren. I'm 15 and I am Scottish. I've been hovering around here for a while now and decided to take the plunge, since it seems like a lovely place to discuss Joanna's music.
