I think a second bracket could be neat! Especially since we all knew this one would be Ys+1 (and I would have guessed HOOM--last year I complained that due to seeding it got stuck below where it deserved). I would love to see how everything else falls together, especially since I couldn't even really guess!

In terms of why the song is so good... my friend explained it to me one day in a really fantastic way. She was telling me how she loved to listen to HOOM when she was getting ready for work. The song was just long enough for her to through all her shit together and put her shoes on, and during that short time should could go through 17 different emotions. That song is a fucking trip. (Granted, so is basically all of Ys. It may just be the newness. (Hopefully we will get some more newness soon? (At least a Good Intentions Paving Co Music video? (Please???))))

Having looked more closely at how to carry forward points to the Repêchage round, I think this is a better solution:

Please still vote for four songs, but EXCLUDE the nine listed just beneath Weirdelves' suggestion in my posting above. I think these none should go forward anyway. Therefore, you have 92 to choose from, listed below, with their carried-forward scores based on previous rounds of JNST2. Every point they received in Round One is worth half of a point now, every point from Round Two is worth a point, and every point in Round Three is worth one-and-a-half points. Votes received in this round will accrue 8 points for a first choice, 7 for a second choice, 6 for a third choice, and 5 for a fourth choice (with the points for any tied positions shared, eg tie for 2nd & 3rd means each song receives 6½ points; four songs tied for 4th means they each receive 1¼). (These point values have been amended from the previously stated 4, 3, 2, & 1, in order to effectively give a bonus of 4 points each time a song is named, because I realised it was unfair that a song named as 3 people's fourth choice still only equated to one being named as one person's top choice, but excluded from the lists of the other three; ).
