I had quit watching SNL for a while because it wasn't funny anymore. If you watched the show last Saturday, there was a skit that typifies the so-called humor that has been the mainstay of the show in recent years. This skit was about two sportscasters at a women's golf tournament that was sponsored by STAY FREE MAXI-PADS. Occasionally during the sports commentary, one of the guys would say something about STAY FREE MAXI-PADS and end it with a word that was obviously used for shock effect, like vagina. Then he would stare dumbly at the camera for a few seconds, like this was where we were supposed to laugh. I was neither shocked, nor did I laugh. It just wasn't funny. At least the Dick in a Box song made me laugh.

Not alot of shows I laugh out loud at. Maybe old Scrubs? That's about it.

Sorry guys, but I'm going to go back to the picture of Joanna with short hair! Since it has been confirmed that it is her, I am so surprised! As someone with insanely long hair (it's super curly and goes down to the small of my back, and I'm 5'8") I am amazed at her courage to chop it all off like that! I would be far too scared, so kudos she tried it!

With regards to SNL, I don't really get an opportunity to watch it in the UK, but I did see a film with Samberg in on television once. He was a daredevil type guy and I was really surprised as to how much I enjoyed it. It was quite cheesy and the humour wasn't what I would normally go for, but it was quite amusing! I think it was called Hot Rod or something like that.

Oh, and the picture I posted is the pic being used on the nndb.com page for her. I think it could do with being updated, don't know what you all think about that. I have no idea how one would go about suggesting it, but I think sites like that should keep things current.

I do think I was being a little creepy in hindsight, but I was crazy drunk when I came across that pic and I thought it was the most fascinating thing in the world.

But yeah, I think she looks so '90s in that photo that it really does show that she never actually was an age-old elfin woodsprite, after all.
