I was so pleased when asked to design and print the poster for the show! I have VERY limited amounts of posters for sale from the print run, most of them went to the lucky audience members. Haha - Jordan I wish you hadn't said that, because now it's impossible not to see the poster any other way!

I guess that's when you KNOW you've made it ... when even the horses fart your name.

For some reason that reminds me of the guy who realised he was paranoid, because each time he walked past a building site, he could hear the carpenters discussing him ... in morse code.

Also the Austin City Limits print arrived direct from Nevada City and the richness and quality are nothing short of incredible. An amazing piece for any JN fan - can't wait to see the performance.

Wtf -- just saw this in her Wiki: "These EPs were not intended for public distribution, though generally considered her best work." Her homemade EPs are "generally considered" her best work? Really? I like them and everything, but I really don't think that's true. Taking it out. But I'm curious, does anyone here think that?

wow, that's odd. i personally don't think of them as her best work, but i suppose i don't really think of them as 'work', seeing as a majority of the songs on her EPs were re-recorded and released on MEM.
maybe someone just decided to screw around with her page for shits and giggles.
i saw this a few lines down, which also seems pretty subjective – "Newsom's work has become prominent on the hipster scene."
the golden word of the new millennium - hipsters.
i guess it's kind of true though. on the two occasions i've seen her live, i was completely overwhelmed by the number of impeccably dressed snobs in attendance.

Hipsters really don't like her. She's an alternative artist with some mainstream popularity (HOOM was in the UK Top 40), meaning she's anathema to them. They used to like her, but that was when she was new and obscure and they could impress people by knowing about her. And they change their musical tastes more frequently than their upcycled underwear, anyway.
