Sadly u are not going to find this one on youtube or pretty much on the web anywhere, over the years i have searched many times and found only small blurbs. Sadly today i searched again and found that the frontman of this band (Zorro and the Blue Footballs) died last year. This guys name was Windy Austin and i first saw him in Fayetteville Ark in the 70's where a good deal of my misspent youth was wasted

One thing i have tried to do on this site is expose younger folks to golden oldies that they might otherwise never hear of or listen to Zorro and TBF, Rodeo and Windy Austin and the Hothouse Tomato Boys are all incarnations of a type of music that i think deserves this type of exposure. The first time i saw zorro i was stunned by the pure musicianship going on underneath the "show" of this band. My first thought was why are these guys here in this small town dive bar when they should be on a national stage, but i don't think Windy even cared. He was just as happy on a little stage as he would have been anywhere. zoro pushed every taboo and envelope they could, all at the same time, every time they got the chance. So today i am listening to a podcast from the University of Ark.(went there) station in which they end the show playing the one album zorro recorded.
There is a video at the end of this article that gives u a small taste of the experience that a zorro show was.
