I rediscovered her record "Faces In The Rocks" yesterday and I must admit i had almost forgotten how beautiful it is

And I just found out a new record of hers (titled "Gift For The End") is coming on march 5th!!!!

Any other fan out there? :luv:

I did buy the first one, but never really got into it. But it's quite likely that I didn;'t give it a fair hearing, so I will try her again since you recommend her so highly, Godspeed :)

i hardly listen to her by the past, then i saw her in concert, worst concert ever, she came alone "my band is holidaying in paris (WTF!?? my town isn't enough good for you hipsters???) she plays like a potatoe, done tones of mistakes and say "it's cool, tonight show let me improve my set" since then i just hate her, i don't really like pay and go to an hall see a girl who clearly don't care about her public...

Unfair comparison, she plays better than any potatoe I've seen. 'Cept maybe Nick Cave.

nope, when you see somone on stage and that person have to start 2 or 3 times each song and stop into a song cos of mistakes, furthermore when this person is sobber you can say "ok she plays like a potatoe!"
(does this expression exists in english? actually it existed in france "elle joue comme une patate" she plays as shit)

haaa I don't think the expression does exist unfortunately. Which sucks because it's an awesome expression.

I will try to popularise it.

I'm all for integrating this expression into English. Going to start using it, see if it catches on.

yeeeahhhh!!!! finally my french attitude win over the english globalization!
@polli, in fact i think noone here really think about the potatoe behaviour, on my mind it's simply, purely, raw potatoe, imagine the potatoe rolling and rolling crazingly on the guitar's strings, i don't think mashed potatoe can actually play guitar even in the worst way.
