Any other fans?
I really, really loooooove the Bowl of Fire. My favorite song is vidalia.

Yay! Another fan!! I loooove him! And his whistling skills are just spectacular. I also love his lyrics. I can feel my vocabulary expanding whenever I listen to him. I really like A Nervous Tic Motion of the Head to the Left, Measuring Cups, Anonanimal, Opposite Day, Oh No... Pretty much everything I hear from him, I like.

I looove him and listen to him quite a bit, but find that I mostly love Mysterious Production of Eggs. Though I suppose I got quite into Armchair Apocrypha, I feel like I still haven't fully digested his last record. I will say, however, that he pretty much ranks as #1 of the all-time most awkward and difficult to talk to musicians I have ever met. :ugh:

I have all his albums but I've never listened much - I do appreciate it, though. He's kind of like a more well-versed Owen Pallett (I like Owen, but Andrew has more instruments at his disposal). I also love Nervous Tic Motion!

He is another that I haven't really listened to before. After watching a few youtube vids, my verdict is...(drum roll please)...pretty damn good! :D

Yea, I knew that none of you would listen without my approval. So, whether I like it or not, I had to say I do. :D

He's fantastic!

You can sort of draw a line in his career between 'The Swimming Hour' and 'The Mysterious Production of Eggs' (the album 'Weather Systems' in the middle there is just a weird one). He starts off doing this kind of cool vaudeville thing where he harkens back to lots of old styles of music, and this is seen clearly in the swimming hour. By the mysterious production of eggs he has totally stepped out of that and doing his own weird thing. I love all of his work though. My personal favorite is probably 'The Swimming Hour'.

Was kind of disappointed in his last record (Break It Yourself) but I think the one before that (Noble Beast) is wayyyy underrated.

Honestly Jessie, whatever you get, you really can't go wrong. Just maybe don't get the most recent one.

Enough of this terror, we deserve to know light.

hum I think his last record is really good much more than the "droning" noble beast.

I reccommend weather systems, armchair apocrypha and break it yourself.
