Don't care for the song or video but I've preordered the album for the rest of the songs. Looking forward to Yes, Anastasia and Marianne.

So glad you got to go! I've been getting goosebumps from the live videos on youtube that are popping up. Still waiting for my copy of the album from Amazon though.

How does she not burst into tears with that orchestra behind her? It's just.. wow.

It was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. She was flawless. If I had an orchestra behind me playing along to my songs I'd be blubbing for sure!

It felt like a proper use of an orchestra, that's the thing, it wasn't a gimmick like it can be with so many bands, It just fit so perfectly.

The website of the National Theatre is now streaming 2 songs from "The Light Princess", the musical Tori wrote the music for. Also, she will release a new album in Spring 2014: "Unrepentant Geraldines" and do a world tour.

I think "Trouble's Lament" is pretty good as a single. I kind of feel "Unrepentant Geraldines" will be a very good album on the whole. "Scarlett's walk" being the last album I really thought of as reaaaaaally good one.

I like this single too and I like the cover of the album too. it's been a long long time since I last liked a tori amos cover. it sounds positive.

I don't like the cover though, but it's not important as long as the content is good. That's what matters really, doesn't it? But it's not as horrible as the last ones. She looks rather "natural" on it at least...

this is it. she kinda looks more like the first tori amos, the one I discovered in 1992.

once again tori amos is the great disappointment. :( I have to resign myself to the fact the artist "tori amos" I discovered more than 20 years ago is dead. some songs of her last record are interesting but listening to the whole of it is quite boring alas like her previous last works.

now it's fair enough for me.

Off the new album I'm really enjoying:
Unrepentant Geraldines (holy sh*t that piano solo!)
Trouble's Lament
Oysters
Wedding Day
Selkie
Weatherman

The rest, eh. I'll let them grow a little.

Live, she is sounding fantastic. The live mixing is a bit Scarlet era, which I ADORE. Can't wait to see her live in a couple months.

Stinker: Promise. Sorry, I can't stand her daughters voice. :ugh:

Apart from Selkie and TL, I've only heard the 90sec clips, and don't dislike anything so far. I think I'm gonna LOVE Wild Way, 16 Shades of Blue, UG and (yes!) Promise. Sorry you're feeling so disappointed, Nemo.
