i love the contrast between them
it needed something dirty/disturbing or it would have been TOO sweet.
also, he's just about the nicest person ever, HUGE sense of humor
i've been working with him for 10 years, and he just became deputy mayor on Iceland. i love that such things can happen over there.

Cannot abide her or her music.
The only brief seconds on 'Ys' I do not love with all my heart are when Joanna sounds a little like her (mainly on Sawdust and Diamonds).

haha that's an extreme opinion, ok ok
perhaps this could explain why sawdust and diamonds is my prefered song!!!!!!!!!!!!
(never notice she sounds like bjork i pay attention next time)
about einar! it's too disturbing!
wasn't bjork approached to be cultural minister or such?

I never got round to getting an album besides Vespertine, but I've been listening today and the album is growing on me. Very slowly.

if you come in france, never tell this to a woman directely, or you will be hit before you can say anything else
actually bjork is singing only on one song, isn't it?

NPRs Top 50 Voices
Bjork: A Celestial Voice
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129029063Although this list holds little credibility when Neko Case & Lauryn Hill are nominated, but not Kate Bush?

Maybe I was just in a bad mood when I watched it, but when I saw Dancer in the Dark (pretty much my first experience with Bjork besides a little interview I saw once and half-heartedly listening to a song or two) I got to the point where I skipped all the musical parts. I absolutely couldn't stand to watch or hear her sing.
So many people I respect really adore Bjork, but after that film, I just really cannot get into her at all. I don't even have a good reason.

haha, you know, i'm a huge fan, but i only saw ditd once, i bought the bo but not the movie and i've to admit i never paid so much attention to the music...
early work's good, in an other mood, try "post"it's the most powerful album, it gives energy and joy.

I loved Dancer in the Dark, including the musical parts!
But that doesn't mean everyone has to love it too or I won't like them.
