I agree,
none of them are BAD

I'd amend that to "none of them are not good." I think all of the songs are good, some are just less good than others. So... What Alex said.

This is such a hard question. I feel like all of the songs were great. But it's a lot easier to choose from HOOm that it was from Ys.
And I am not saying No Provenance is a bad song, it just doesn't strike any chords with me.

Should '81 and Esme really be in the options? I've only heard positive things about them from fans. Kingfisher in terms of the instrumentation is the worst in my opinion, but the lyrics save it. No Provenance is too slow and dreary to be enjoyable - but the perfect bridge between GIPC and Baby Birch.

What if we understand it but still dislike it?

I agree, i just think it pales in comparison to other greater songs like Go Long, Does Not Suffice, Have One on Me...

I'm also surprised that Autumn is even on this list. The more i listen to it, the more i think it's one of the very best on HOOM. Such brilliant lyrics

I love all of Joanna Newsom's music no matter what but the song that I skip the most is "You And Me, Bess".

I used to feel like that about "Autumn" but as time went by it grew on me. And same with "easy".
