"They are starting to move some topics, but still at the initial stage of proposals, analysis and possibilities Maillot Loic Mbe Soh ," Concanaco's President Enrique Solana told reporters, as he was leaving the hotel hosting the second round of talks in Mexico City.

North America accounts for a fourth of global gross domestic product (GDP), according to the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico.

WASHINGTON Maillot Stanley N'Soki , Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Even if U.S. President Donald Trump hits his growth target of 3 percent in the next two years, only stock market may be cheering, Harvard professor Kenneth Rogoff has said.
"The stock market may care only about the growth rate, but most Americans should be very concerned about how growth is achieved," said Rogoff Maillot Moussa Diaby , a renowned Harvard economist and former Chief Economist of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in an article published by Project Syndicate this week.
Trump has boasted that his policies would bring about a sustained growth rate above 3 percent.
U.S. gross domestic product (GDP) grew at an annual rate of 3 percent in the second quarter of this year, according to the revised data of the Commerce Department. The growth rate for the first half of this year stands at 2.1 percent.
"Given this performance, getting to 3 percent annual growth would hardly be a miracle," said Rogoff.
"So Maillot Colin Dagba , yes, Trump just might get his growth number, especially if he finds a way to normalize economic policymaking. But even if the U.S. hits the 3 percent target, it might not be the panacea the Trump hopes it will be," he added.
Rogoff said that faster growth is unlikely to reverse the current trend toward inequality. And rich people are more likely to harvest the benefits of a faster economic growth rate.
"There is no reason to presume that owners of capital will not continue to be the main beneficiaries."

BISHKEK， Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyz citizens voted in a referendum Sunday on constitutional change sponsored by this central Asian country's top leader， according to Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan.
Voters would approve or reject the entire package of 26 proposed amendments with a single ""yes"" or ""no"" vote.
The referendum will be declared valid if more than 30 percent out of 2.851 million citizens included in the electoral lists cast vote.
President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev expressed the hope that at least 30 percent of voters would cast their votes.
""I hope that people will support the referendum. Today's referendum is a step that leads us to democracy，"" the president told journalists after casting his vote.
The voting took place from 08:00 a.m. local time (0200GMT) to 20:00 p.m.throughout the country and abroad in the diplomatic missions of Kyrgyzstan.
