I keep having dreams like that and can never remember the music afterwards. I has this one where Tori Amos was singing about a wolf and it was awesome! Can't remeber the song grrrrr!

I dreamed last night that I was at the DMV with my mama, and Slim Cessna was sitting behind us. I said to my mama 'Holy shit! it's Slim Cessna, right behind us!'. She said 'the guy with the hat, the beard, and gold tooth? God, gold teeth are gross'. And then I woke up.
Of course, I have one aim, the grotesque. If I am not grotesque I am nothing.
Last night I dreamed that I was at a party with Jeri Blank and she was really drunk and then we were riding in this car and I had to get in the back seat with Jeri and I was like "EWWWWWWW THAT BITCH IS GONNA BARF ON ME! NASTY!"
Had a very beautiful dream last night. I can't remember all of it but I was lying in a field of long grass next to a little old fashioned Newtonian telescope. The moon was full and everywhere was that beautiful silver\blue colour. I was comletely content and at ease. Instead of stars the sky was filled with shining numbers and I could pluck them out of the sky and eat them, they tasted chalky and sweet. Behind me there was a forrest with a small light glowing and I remember getting up to walk into the forrest and there was vague feeling that I was becoming wolf like but that is all I remember.

My mum has dreams that are mediocre too, like going to the shops and buying some food!! She always gets really frustrated cos that is what she does every day anyway, she can't even escape it when she sleeps

And I dreamt I was cuddling with some guy I don't know (another one I made up?) by a really big bonfire outside... With barely any clothes on... And it was still very much winter.
I dreamt I had a few days to live. I spent most of the time looking for burial goods to put in my tomb before the mound was raised around it. Also kissed a guy I had a crush on 6 years ago.
i just recall someone nicknamed me "Jezebel" all along my dream. Particularly unpleasant as i'm so feared spend my life alone, eating by my dogs when i finally died.
it match perfectly with what i was in my dream a beautiful blonde straight hair minor ( )girl who seduces older mens, i remember drowning some into a swimming pool.
but what is more weird is that i can't recall when i learned something about jezebel, as i had to go on the wiki page to know stuff about her. I probably heard her name into a peplum but, i'm fascinating how brain could generate unknown concept.
I'm gonna sound super crazy again, but I had a totally weird experience last night. Sometimes when I have sleep paralysis, I sort of drift in and out and it's a feeling like "woosh" in and out of paralysis, but I retain consciousness throughout it all. Well, last night, I was falling asleep but staying conscious of it all. It was very bizarre. I kept having this bizarre heady feeling, again "woosh"-like where I'd dip in and out but i was totally and completely aware of it. I didn't want to fall asleep because being aware of it was freaking me out, but I was so tired I didn't want to try and sit up and wake up. So I slipped into a dream without ever losing my awareness. I went from being entirely awake, laying in bed, staring at the wall, to dreaming about being in an ocean without a change in my awareness. But then, while in the ocean, I was thinking, no, I don't want to dream about an ocean. If I'm aware, I should be able to control it. So I kept trying to swim, or change my surroundings, but it didn't work and I just sunk and sunk and sunk. And that's the last thing I remember.
BUT, my main question -- has anyone else ever maintained that awareness while falling asleep? A seamless transition from awake to dreaming while fully experiencing it all? I feel crazy.
I haven't done it while initially falling asleep for the night, but I have done it many times when awakening after hours of sleep--to go to the bathroom, just turning over to get more comfortable, or whatever--and then waiting to fall back asleep. I love when that happens. I wish I could do it every time I fall asleep.
my best friend have sleep paralysis with consciousness dreams since she lives in america is it an america pb? it arrives in period when i'm over tired then i've difficulties to fall asleep, due to stress i guess
Maybe. It rarely happens, and I haven't identified anything specific that triggers it. There is a lot of information about the condition online, like at Wikipedia.
Yeah, as far as I can tell, there's not a real reason why it happens to some people more than others. I know that altered sleep schedules can affect it, so I usually expect it to happen when I'm taking a nap, or going to sleep way earlier. But, I still deal with it all the time, even when my sleeping schedule is perfectly normal (though that's rare in itself).
I need to see a sleep doctor, for reals, to deal with all my problems.
I had one recently where I had a homing locust. He was really sweet but someone was trying to squash him. I had to save him and I rolled him on his back and rubbed his tummy. AWWWW
