Ever kiss a corpse? Fuckign gross [emoticon intentionally omitted]

No. Not it.

"My wife and I were very anxious, and my hands were shaking with joy because my little girl is going off to school," says Sergei Urmanov, an electrical engineer whose daughter, Zalina, was excited as she headed to the ceremony.

Sergei was waiting just outside the school with his camera. "My daughter was coming out of school with her best friend," he says. "They were carrying a poster that said, 'First time to first grade,' and they had balloons in their hands, and I took their picture."

While children gathered with their proud parents, a large truck pulled up to the entrance of Beslan School No. 1. It was approximately 9:20 in the morning.

Heavily armed men and women with machine guns, assault rifles, hand grenades and at least half a dozen bombs and detonators, quickly entered the school through the door. Another group of terrorists ran along the side of the building, into a courtyard.

It's the hand of a victim of the Beslan School Massacre.

The poll.

Imagine that you live the U.S. of A.

It was your country and citizens who lived through the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks.

(I can't believe I have to say this next bit.) You don't believe that anyone other than the well-known 19 murderous "Islamists" who were sent by other people of the same type to hijack and crash 4 planes which caused the destruction of the Twin Towers in NY and part of the Pentagon in Washington D.C. (If you have trouble with this, then ignore this thread and go fishing in a leaky boat in the middle of the ocean.)

When is the next one for the U.S.?

Never mind when, what is the next one?

That is the poll.

Which kind of horror would you choose?

1. Spectacular (9/11-type)

2. Wretched Abomination (Belsan-type: most or all of the children of a public school set to torturous siege and murdered horribly.)

3. Another (write-in)

Well, ....go ahead and choose.

Islamic funamentalism is as dangerous as swans. You ever been chased by a swan? They're fucking vicious.

Stop watching the news. It's screwing with your head. You're the bullies, you don't need to be afraid of the weedy kid with the personality disorders.

Sorry, but is this really appropriate for this sort of a forum? I apologize, but this all seems a bit crazy to me.

All up and down the Hudson River outside NY City, what's called "Upstate NY" there are memorials in towns big and small in which a local fireman or police officer never made it home that day.

I live in one of these tiny towns.

Are there monuments to the many millions more killed either by mistreatment or neglect from the feds than ever have been or ever will be killed by the fictitious organisation Al Qaeda?
Radcliffe Brown wrote:"In studying political organisation, we have to deal with the maintenance or establishment of social order, within a territorial framework, by the organized exercise of coercive authority through the use, or possibility of use, of physical force."

Max Weber wrote:"Today the relationship between the state and violence is an especially intimate one. ... [W]e have to say that a state is a human community that (successfully) claims the monopoly of the legitimate use of physical force within a given territory."

Did you let someone use your account to post that?

No. Al Qaeda - in the very least as a "global terror network" - is utter fantasy. There is no "global terror network", just a few scattered and isolated pockets of lunatics. The IRA is better organised and more threatening, and that's disbanded.
You should be more worried about actions sanctioned by the state than actions of which the state tells you to be afraid. It's misdirection, sleight of hand. Keep everyone focused on the fictional threat while we sneak in the back door and take their freedom away.

Just put him on your "foes" list and his posts don't appear! Makes this forum a MUCH better place.

I was one of the earliest forum members on the old forum- who never posted but lurked.
The person who posted this garbage is one of the main reasons I never participated in the old forums and once I saw the new forums up for a couple months- without this drama- I decided to become "active"

The foes feature now makes it possible to pretend this person doesn't exist! YAY!

I hadn't realized just what the "foe" list did. Hmmmm...interesting. So, what does the "friend" list do?

When it was over, a further eight security personnel lay dead in and around the church along with all six Islamists.

The group that claimed responsibility for the savage violence, The Islamic State of Iraq, is an al Qaeda affiliate. The affiliation is the tragedy’s least surprising aspect, since wherever there is the smell of innocent, murdered corpses, al Qaeda can’t be far away.

In their statement issued after the attack, the terrorist group blamed their act of mass murder and destruction on Egypt’s Coptic Church for allegedly holding two women who had converted to Islam. Their other spurious excuse concerned the martyred Baghdad church itself. In the statement, it was called “…one of the filthy dens of idolatry that was always used by the Christians of Iraq to fight the religion of Islam and to support those who fight that religion.”

But the real reason for Sunday’s hellish bloodletting is that Islamist terrorists, as has often been noted, are death worshippers. Several have been quoted as saying that while we (in the West) love life, they love death. Former President George Bush even referred to one of these nihilistic messages in a speech he made in 2004, calling Islamist thinking “a mindset that rejoices in suicide, incites murder and celebrates every death we mourn.” Bush could have been speaking of the Iraqi church massacre.

Some believe this love of death was present even in Islam’s earliest days, such as in the message Caliph Abu Bakr sent to a Persian commander before a battle in 636 bears. It read: You should convert to Islam, and then you will be safe, for if you don’t, you should know that I have come to you with an army of men that love death as you love life.”
....

In Beslan, Geifman believes the terrorists took “their sacrificial destruction to a new level.” By attacking a town like Beslan where everyone knew each other, all suffered death and bereavement, even if they didn’t lose a child. This in turn has created what psychologists call a “death space” or “zone” where everyone is grieving. But unlike Holocaust survivors who were also “affected for life”, the people of Beslan remain in their town among their dead. Since the tragedy, the locals call their town a “closed ‘infected sphere’ ” where it is like “living in a cemetery.” (Islamist “Dead Zones”)

If posts like the one above serve a purpose here, what might that purpose be? I mean, what is it that you wish for us to do about it?

Purpose here as in 'Milky Moon'? or here as in this thread? or any purpose in any context or medium at all?

The best that I can hope is that I and you-all (everyone) are educated properly. The 'what to do' is left to the free will of each autonomous agent (person).

Ahhh, you are a relayor of information. Can I assume that, as in the previous forum, you will be relaying only information deemed accurate by those of a particular ideological persuasion? I mean, you won't be relaying information considered accurate by those who believe that aliens, and I don't mean those from south-of-the-border, are already living among us?

No, no, no,...no. A 'Relayor', hypothetically, conveys something essential to the survival of the Species that has long been forgotten. (There is, I believe, the additional mumbo-jumbo about the 'Relayor' acquiring the information genetically.)

Should I consider you to be disabused?
