well, for me. because holding onto this for so long and nursing this absurd fantasy has really been draining. now to finally put it away and let it go brings with it a somewhat cathartic sense of lightness and freedom.
now maybe instead of being committed to an imaginary relationship, i might actually be able to find a real relationship with someone. (as long as they don't know anything about this story---- surely that would ruin my chances!)
