I have nothing to watch. Just finished mad men, HIMYM, 30 rock, bones... going to have to give all the Whedon shows another run through.

I found the fact that it was so "pretty" distracting ( I remember a reviewer likening it to a perfume ad) and dismissed it, but I found myself thinking about it long after I watched it. I guess there was something underneath the shiny exterior that actually resonated with me.

I first heard of Temple a year or so ago when I saw her in a documentary being shown on PBS. I was intrigued by her insights into the humane treatment of 'food animals'. I'm not vegan, nor do I believe that animals need to be eliminated from the human food chain, but I do believe that cruel or irresponsible treatment of those animals should be avoided wherever possible...not just for their benefit, but for ours as well.

So, when I ran across this HBO movie, I jumped at the chance to see it. One of the most moving and inspiring productions I've ever seen! I anticipate that some people who are committed to a meatless diet may view Temple Grandin as an enabler for a practice that they want to end. Whatever your views on the subject, I strongly recommend this movie to everyone...especially those who have never seriously thought about the way food animals are treated.

I watched four episodes and then lost interest. I'm not sure why. I didn't have that problem when watching Band of Brothers. Maybe I'll continue the series later.

is that the suite of BOB? i loooooved band of brother, it's extremely well done, i love the "bastogne" (6 i guess) episode with the doctor and the last two ones, when they arrived in Berchtesgaden. and i always be in love with damian lewis :luv: and i cry each time i hear "grandpa did you were a hero in the war? no but i served in a compagny of heroes" only american can say such national answer, sometimes i think it's important.
it's weird near my house there is a tour operator, and they make publicity to Berchtesgaden, how quite, natural, nice place is it  of course it's nice but it stike me a little when i saw happy family lay down the grass in B...to me B is just the den of Hitler.

the real Avatar, the last airbender. the 3d was a little dissapointing but the movie was grand. this cartoon is going to make a great sprawling movie set(3 parts). go see it :)

ummmm looking for a pic i see the critics are panning this flick, screw the critics it will end up a classic anyway
