Insouciance as a lifestyle? Not at all, I'm at university now. I barely have time to pass water. At the moment I'm posting on borrowed time, which at some point in the near future I will have to pay back with interest. I have been posting like my life depends on it, but I've been posting essays to supervisors.
Who are we going to war with, now? Are we getting a revolution? The American Executive Branch has been disabled? Can it get medical attention or is it too poor? What's going on, other than the media farting out so much hot air about how we're all under attack from ghosts and shadows?
Someone's coming to rescue me from these painfully safe and secure middle class doldrums? Why has no one told me about all this before? Is this why you've returned?
I wouldn't worry, you've already begun to spice things up. The scent of turmeric and cumin is already beginning to seep into the musty air. Not too spicy, though, please; I like my curry mild.
I've been busy. Reading and writing nine to five, dashing between lectures and libraries, stumbling between one piece of work and the next. Also, a lot of other things have happened. My name's Alex now, I'm not on medication anymore and I've moved to a different (part of the) country.
What about you?
