The less-used but ever joyous thread of optimism.

Got anythin' good going on? Cuz I have cake.

we should start a new movement here, optimism should not be in minority!

Question: what was the most fun thing you did today?

Today I went to my friend's house and played Mariokart 64. I kicked his ass. I'm really good at Mariokart. Also, I had a really good sandwich and scheduled a job interview. Things are lookin' good!

sounds like you created a personal paradise! :D

Today, while I was studying for my final exams, I saw something really funny happening on the street.
A boy, probably 15 years old, was biking home but suddenly stopped on the middle of the street. He was looking around rapidly to check no one was watching. Then, he opened his school bag, grabbed some papers out of it, and started looking for a particular one. When he found it, he pushed it into some bushes at the side of the street, got on his bike again and went home (I think).
I couldn't study ONE second longer without knowing what he trew away, so I started walking with the dog and casually grabbed the papers. They turned out to be detention papers he had to show to his parents

I HAD MY LAST DIFFICULT EXAM. It went terribly, but this is the woo life thread, so I won't go there. Philosophy of Science in a week, then I'm free, and get to see my boyfriend after not seeing him for nearly 6 weeks.

Happy birthday!

I've decided that I'm not going to let me A level in art go to waste. I want to do something a bit creative this weekend, probably inspired by something from Ys, although I don't know what yet. So i feel that constitutes more of a 'woo' than anything else :P

Ooh, any ideas? I'm thinking of embarking on some kind of artistic pursuit. Then again I'm also considering writing a book, some songs and learning how to play uke.

I'll probably just sit on my fat ass all summer.

I'm so happy right now just because I feel really lucky! I've been having a hard time financially and, I don't know, my grandmother has been unbelievable. She's spent a ridiculous amount of time and money to stabilize some things in my life and make sure I have enough to get by on and I'm just so happy about it. I can't believe I have someone so willing to help me in my life and I can't stop being all weepy and grateful about it.

I feel happy today :) life is good sometimes and I am very lucky to have someone who loves me and I love in return. So I have decided that I am not messing around anymore, this is my husband to be!

And every little gust that chances through
Will dance in the dust of me and you
