THE FRAY / This is the life sucks thread

off topic chattery

Postby Weirdelves on 21 May 2010, 17:52

Share your misery.

I'm not going to bitch and moan about my own life anymore, I skulked far too long on this thread on the last forum.

But c'mon it's schadenfreude time.

That is all.

My main gripes for life sucking is the continuing epidemic of human stupidity. So sad. Prime example: the Gulf oil spill. It's so infuriating how hopeless it seems. I live in FL, so it's pretty close to home, but seriously, this has the potential to fuck up the entire planet. It makes me so angry.

My guitar string broke. :( so I have nothing to distract me from endless pages of philosophy notes.

Could learn to play my uke, I guess.

i tightened the strings too much, and the nail flew out. i made it myself, so I am not at all surprised.

Becca am right there with u on this one, seems burrying ones head in the sand is seen as a good things these days. I worked really hard on the Obama campaign and was so relieved when we got him elected, but this spill thing is outa control and we need his smarts to step in and help push us out of it. Perhaps it will work out for the best, the natural gulf is screwed of course, but maybe there will be the impetus to finnaly move toward real green energy sources now :wtf:

Ursulabear is easily the one of the coolest girls in the planet, for those who don't yet know. All this instrument making business doesn't surprise me in the least!

(Ursula, I promise I have written about 50 letters but not sent one off. I'm horrible at getting things sent out, and I'm so sorry!)

psh! like hell I am! Nah, I am kidding. plenty of people are cooler than I. For example, Ode To, or polli. or even glenn beck.

and you can take your time. I have done the same!

When did I become cool? O__O Unless you mean that you are incredibly uncool, and therefore, I am 'cooler' by comparison. I don't buy that, sweetie. With all the things you know and can do, you are very cool...except for that 'cutting' thing. If I had been as cool as you are when I was your age, I would be completely frozen by now. D%

Six Times?! Some people choose to have separate love and sex lives. Guess you can't settle for a polyamorous relationship anytime soon, eh?

But my mum says it would be a-okay if I were to live with several partners! No, really, she said that.
