Wanbli

It's great to have all the recordings neatly catalogued and in one place.
So .. I for one like the JNTV.

have you guys noticed the extra chords in 'have one on me' that she adds in this section live?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beyoE1As ... re=related
it blows me away! as if this passage wasn't enough with the percussion, lyrical movement, chord progression, strings and rhythm she just had to add in those extra syncopated noted as if she was bored by the original passage written! it's absolutely insane and genius to me!

I love where that section starts at 7:35. So intense!

Yes, most of the time I listen to the song solely for that section.
I just love her voice with round "O" sounds, it's so powerful

That's probably my favorite part just in terms of the orchestration. It's so heavy-footed and hefty.

I like when she sings the 'in my hot hand' bit. Especially when she says the 'you' in 'you cuffed their collars'

Gah, I have too many, I keep posting them as I remember!

at 0:49 in Have One on Me, when you can hear what I assume is just her shifting her harp a bit, like just a slight knocking on wood

Oh, I always imagined that sound was "the cup" (or "his head", in Dutch we have the same word for both things!) dropping on the floor! So I thought it must have been deliberate.

Oh, that actually makes a lot of sense!
I'm simply awful at figuring out stuff like that, I just really liked that sound.

Esme

the verse from about 6:05, when she sings "but if you ARE scared", and more specifically the way she sings "are", it's just so touching and gets me every time.

I love this moment too, and maybe even more the moment right after this line (love the instrumental + vocal)

Also, see my nickname --> one of my favorite part is in only skin near the end when we start hearing the guy's voice on top of joanna's.
Also, the meteroids part in the end of Emily.
Also, the whistle thing in hoom

But really, every change of rythm in only skin or emily makes me something

That's a great call.

There's a moment I just reaaaaaaaaaaaally love when listening to "Inflammatory Writ" on "TMEM" album. It's the way she kind of sings/says "So don't ask me!". It always makes me laugh. She sounds like a naughty little girl throwing a tantrum (not sure about this expression as it's the first time I'm using it. Just got it from an on-line translation...).

I've always thought that line was really Dylan-esque
