I love the word Shenandoah. I really want to use it in a name (like for a future child) somewhere, but it's a little out there for a first name, so I'm thinking middle name. I like long names. It's just so pretty and so much fun to say. I love the folk song too.

If you gave that middle name to a boy he'd have to be a novelist or artist and abbreviate it to S.

I assume any child I have will be a novelist or an artist anyway.

Actually, my husband wants to go into politics, so probably not. I'll have to start behaving like a respectable person and have respectable children. Sigh.
