There's a pub that sells Joanna's favourite drink in Cambridge and it is wonderful.

how do you know if its her favorite? Is it in a song reference I missed >_< or just mentioned in an interview or something

I don't know about 'unicorn tears', but it does taste like fizzy raspberry juice.

That interview is almost a decade old, right? I imagine Joanna has a new favorite drink, seeing as she has grown up since then.

Well, that's true; but we have only one authoritative statement regarding her favourite drink, and that is her own assertion that it's framboise lambic. While we can assume that it is likely that her tastes have changed, it is equally plausible that it remains her favourite drink, or indeed, that it is one of several drinks that she enjoys equally.

It's also pretty consistent with the Joanna Newsom of The Milk-Eyed Member. The Joanna Newsom of Have One On Me probably wouldn't say that her favourite drink tastes like unicorn tears.

I can't believe she drinks that syrupy muck. The Timberlake thing seems even more unlikely. A piss-take, right?
