So I just watched The Strangers last night for the first time. I knew "The Sprout and The Bean" was in it but when I heard it, I thought it was terribly out of place. It did sound kinda cool and creepy with the reverb added to it towards the end though. Anyone have theories as to why that song was maybe chosen for that scene? Or even that movie lol? Only thing I could think of was the "should we go outside?" part, rather eerie! Any other ideas?

I think someone typed in a lyrics search engine for any song that might match the movie title or tagline/theme- and they got a match.

The odd part is the permission and licensing part...
