The lineup for End of the Road is so good it hurts. Aside from the big names, Perfume Genius is definately someone to check out.

That line-up is like a who's who of all the music I used to like but really can't stand these days. Not so keen on Perfume Genius I thought he was pretty overrated too.

(Why would I post just to be so negative?)

(I don't know but I am)

yep, Barcelona :hyper: She's playing at a new festival called Fly me to the moon, sharing lineup with Beach House!!!

Animal Collective are playing the day before at the same festival. It will last two days and there is still a big name to be confirmed, I'm so so so excited.

Thanks for the extra information, Cliquott. Is there any news about ticket pricing? Also, is it an all day thing? Would be very tempted to make a trip over. Would love to see Animal Collective and Joanna over the 2 days!

Ticket pricing has not been updated yet but someone has said that it will be a "popular price" so it's gonna be quite cheap I guess.

Are the words underneath the artists reviews or other artists? Because "The suicide of Western culture" is a pretty harsh description of Animal Collective, but I guess going to see Joanna is a bit like spending the weekend at a beach house.

The Suicide of Western Culture is a spanish band, which I have never listened to by the way

I kind of want to go to the end of the road festival, but out of the line-up I have only heard of Joanna Newsom, and I'm pretty sure that none of my friends have heard of any of them at all! Hmm, maybe I should be spreading the word a bit more. :-/

End of the Road setlist:

Bridges and Balloons
In California
Easy
Cosmia
On A Good Day
Have One On Me
Soft As Chalk
Sadie
Sawdust and Diamonds
'81

Encore:
Book Of Right On

Solo show. That is all.

Also I now have tickets to ATP and cannot quite express my excitement at seeing JN and Jeff Mangum in the same weekend.
