I'm leaving in a few hours to head to Seattle to meet BEVERLEY and then we're going to show and we're going to have the best time ever and make bffs with Joanna afterward.

SOOOO EXCITED.

I just got through seeing Joanna Newsom live 7 times in 9 days --( Santa Barbara , LA , Oakland , Seattle , Vancouver B.C. , Portland & Portland ) . Is this excessive ? Am I out of control ? Should I seek professional help ? Did I break any records ? When do tickets for the next show go on sale ?

Excessive? Only if you are stalking her, or shirking responsibilities in some way. I've yet to see her even once, and doubt that I will in the foreseeable future. I don't even know that I want to anymore. It's definitely a 'No' if I had to settle for a terrible seat. There are shows I've seen where I couldn't see clearly enough to even recognize anyone onstage. I no longer see the point in going to shows like that. Anyway, I can't afford to travel to see Joanna, and she seems to be avoiding my area since her first couple of tours...that was before I heard of her. Anyway, I enjoy reading about others getting to see her. So, if you can afford to see every show, then go for it.
