I have a spare ticket for this gig as my friend can't make it. If anyone would like to come please PM me. I don't want to put it on ebay at such short notice. It's seat 28 in row A of the grand tier, which isn't as close as the stalls but you still get a good view from up there. Let me know if you're interested!

Cheers,

Jess

I'll be there in the front row, slightly right of centre. Excited.

Setlist as far as I can recall:

'81
Bridges & Balloons
Have One On Me
Easy
Cosmia
Soft as Chalk
No Provenance
Emily
Kingfisher
Peach, Plum, Pear

Encore: Baby Birch

I feel I may be missing something perhaps.

That was a good attempt at recalling the setlist, though. I only know it because I've got the setlist from the stage in front of me! I was sat front row centre, slightly to the left.[quote="Weirdelves"]

People may remember me from the old forum. I've been inactive for about a year or so. The gig at the Birmingham Symphony Academy was unreal. Joanna received a standing ovation. I'd be interested in hearing what everyone else thought of the gig. I spoke to a guy beforehand about jens lekman and various joanna-related topics. I'd be interested to know what he thought of a gig if he's a member of the forum. He went to the show by himself as his wife cannot stand Joanna's music!

i was at this too! Joanna was amazing. From the moment she walked on and started playing '81 i was mesmerized till the end of her set. managed to get a set list too. i was sat in row B in the middle, 3 rows from the front i think, with all the leg room :)

did anybody manage to get any pictures, my phone is rubbish quality so i only took 1..

I got some pictures but I didn't want to disturb the front row so I didn't put the flash on. I'll post them some time next week.

I think I can speak for everyone who went to the gig: Joanna's performance of all thirteen songs was a thing of beauty. I can scarcely believe I witnessed it. She deserved the standing ovation through and through.

Sorry for the delay in uploading photos of the concert, and sorry for the images and their lack of quality. I didn't want to disturb Joanna by putting the flash on!
